There are many different ways to go about product testing with paid ads. You could spend thousands of dollars just on courses on how to set up your first ads. This resource section is to create some simple starting methods on how you can test.
These are by no means exhaustive. Your own creativity is your limitation.
Pick an Evergreen Niche
For this example let's pick:
To Son From Mom
We have now chosen our angle and limited our products.
I would create 1 phrase that was built out of our best practices phrase sheet.
Put that phrase on 1 background that is based on the color pallet discussed on
the message card resource page.
Then test a couple of products first.
In this example, let's choose to test the Cuban Link chain and the Openwork Watch.
I set my ads up with the same targeting and same ad creative style
Now, I have isolated the variables down to only testing the Product.
Once I figure out which product works the best with that phrase I will keep testing different things from there.
If my link CTR is high I will keep the phrase and design the same and go straight to target testing.
If my link CTR is low, below 0.6%, then I will go back to the drawing board and redo my design prior to going into target testing.
